TIME®5631 Ultrasonic Hardness Tester

The TIME5631 is an intelligent ultrasonic hardness tester designed for fast, accurate, and non‑destructive hardness measurement with minimal surface impact. It is particularly suitable for testing locally hardened areas, small components, thin parts, and workpieces that cannot be measured using conventional bench‑top hardness testers. The system consists of a smart ultrasonic probe and an industrial smartphone that communicate via Bluetooth. Hardness values measured by the probe are transmitted to the smartphone in real time, and data can be transferred to a PC for further analysis. The smart probe is powered by two AA batteries for easy replacement and supports remote software upgrades. The interface supports both English and Simplified Chinese. The instrument provides hardness conversion for HV, HB, HRC, HRA, and HRB scales and includes a standard 10 N probe with a resolution of 1 HV. Data storage is handled through the mobile app, which supports large‑capacity storage and advanced data processing functions including customized work orders, real‑time data sharing, and report generation. Measurement records can include additional information such as images, videos, and location data. The system includes automatic power‑off and is suitable for measuring belt and plate workpieces, mold hardened layers, blade hardened layers, tooth surfaces, flange edges, wheels, turbine rotors, thin plates, shafts, pipes, containers, knife edges, and welded parts.
