The TIME5104 is a compact and lightweight portable hardness tester designed for simple and convenient operation. It supports conversion between multiple hardness scales including HL, HV, HB, HRC, HRB, and HS. The device includes a USB interface for PC connection and works with TIME51X Dataview software for online measurement and offline data analysis such as curve charts, data tables, tolerance settings, and report generation. An RS232 interface allows direct connection to a printer for immediate printing of test results. The tester supports 360‑degree measurement and automatically identifies the impact direction. It stores up to 270 readings across nine groups and includes a backlight display for low‑light environments. Upper and lower limits can be set, and the unit is powered by AAA 1.5 V batteries with battery status indication and automatic power‑off.
