TIME®5433 Shore Hardness Tester
The TIME5433 is a digital Shore AM hardness tester designed for measuring the hardness of thin samples such as vulcanized rubber, soft plastics, and similar polymer materials with a thickness of less than six millimetres. It is equipped with an LVDT displacement sensor that provides high accuracy and stable performance even in harsh environments. The instrument features an OLED display that clearly shows hardness values and supports simple menu‑based operation. It includes automatic zero‑point calibration and three operating modes: real‑time mode, peak‑value‑hold mode, and timed‑hold mode. In peak‑value mode, the instrument automatically locks the maximum hardness value. In timed‑hold mode, the user can set a delay from one to sixty seconds, after which the reading is automatically locked. Upper and lower limits can be preset for batch inspection, and the instrument provides an alarm when values fall outside the specified range. The TIME5433 supports average calculation and automatic removal of outliers and can store up to two hundred averaged locked values. Optional PC software allows data transfer via USB for generating reports in Word or Excel. The TIME5433 is suitable for laboratory testing, production environments, and on‑site quality control of thin rubber and plastic materials.
