TIME®5630 Ultrasonic Hardness Tester (Manual Probe)

The TIME5630 is a portable ultrasonic hardness tester designed for nondestructive hardness measurement of thin workpieces and hardened layers. It uses an ultrasonic contact impedance method and is suitable for applications where traditional Leeb hardness testing is not possible. The instrument features a 3.5‑inch colour LCD display and provides clear indication of battery status with a low‑battery alarm. It supports conversion to common hardness scales including HV, HB, HRC, and HRB. The TIME5630 includes hardness calibration and calibration deletion functions and allows material selection for steel and cast steel, with extended capability for alloy tool steel, special cast iron, and non‑ferrous metals when calibrated with a standard test block. The tester supports 360‑degree measurement in any direction without compensation and displays maximum, minimum, average, standard deviation, number of measurements, and previous measurement values. It includes upper and lower limit settings with an alarm when values exceed the preset range. The instrument has a large data storage capacity using a built‑in 8 GB SD card and includes a portable stand to improve measurement accuracy. It is suitable for measuring strip and plate workpieces, mold hardened layers, blade hardened layers, tooth surfaces, flange edges, wheels, turbine rotors, thin plates, shafts, pipes, containers, knife edges, and welded parts.
